Not at all. The course is designed for regular divers who want to improve their confidence underwater. It’s practical, hands-on, and smooth.

A total of 5 adventure dives:
Mandatory: Deep + Navigation
Choose 3: Drift, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night, Wreck, Boat, Search & Recovery, Underwater Photography, and others depending on the dive center.

Usually 2 days.
If you add special dives like Night or Wreck, sometimes it can extend to 2.5 days.

You will be certified to dive up to 30 meters / 100 feet.

No heavy study.
You’ll read short sections in your digital manual, complete a few knowledge reviews, and the rest is fun, real diving.

Yes. You can start straight away — no minimum number of logged dives required.

All basic scuba gear is included in most dive centers.
For specialties like underwater photography, you may need an underwater camera (usually available for rental).

It’s more enjoyable than difficult.
You learn new skills step-by-step with an instructor who stays close the whole time.

Yes. PADI Advanced certifications are accepted worldwide.
